Das IHP ist ein Institut der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft und betreibt Forschung und Entwicklung zu siliziumbasierten Systemen, Höchstfrequenz-Schaltungen und -Technologien einschließlich neuer Materialien. Das IHP beschäftigt ca. 330 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Es verfügt über eine Pilotlinie für technologische Entwicklungen und die Präparation von Hochgeschwindigkeits-Schaltkreisen mit 0,13/0,25 µm-BiCMOS-Technologien, die sich in einem 1000 m² großen Reinraum der Klasse 1 befindet.

The position:
As a Research Associate in our Research & Prototyping Services group, you will play a key role in shaping and expanding IHP’s collaborative research activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strategic partnerships and networks with research institutions and industry
    development organizations
  • Managing publicly funded projects with a focus on exploitation and dissemination of results
  • Initiating new project ideas, initiatives, and activities to strengthen IHP’s service delivery business
  • Integrating IHP’s technologies into publicly funded projects and fostering their application
  • Engaging with customers and partners, assessing new technology offerings, and aligning them with project opportunities
  • Supporting marketing events / workshops with focus on technical and research communication, including preparation of presentations and support for tutorials, technical marketing material and demonstrators

Requirements:

Your profile:

  • University degree (Master’s or PhD) in business administration with a technology focus, natural sciences, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Solid track record in project acquisition, coordination, and management — ideally in research and
    development or in publicly funded projects
  • Strong communication and networking skills, enabling you to be a trusted contact for partners and
    stakeholders
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups
  • Excellent command of both German and English, spoken and written
  • Nice to have: Experience in physics, microelectronics, electrical engineering, or semiconductor technologies
